The Annie Ruth Jones Scholarship- A health promotion scholarship in honor of Mrs. Annie Ruth Jones.  

Annie Ruth Jones died of a massive heart attack at the age of 62.  She was a mother of 5 with 4 grand kids.  She was a smoker, diabetic, hypertensive and lost 2 toes and a leg.  She advocated for a healthy lifestyle in her grand kids and continued to inspire everyone until her death.  

This scholarship is given to individuals wanting to pursue health training, certifications, or degrees.  This scholarship is given to a high school student in Jefferson, Georgia and in Greenville, South Carolina and a non-traditional student wanting additional health training.

Scholarship applications accepted until August 2018. Awards will be announced in Spring of 2019.
